Abstract

This circuit provides selective generation of an inhibit condition to only a part of a circuit, which is normally responsive to a single input. In order to selectively inhibit circuit 12 and not to effect normal operation of circuit 14, inhibit circuit 16 is provided in series between field-effect transistors (FET's) Q1 and Q2. During normal, or noninhibit operation pad A is left floating. Under these conditions, control signals derived from input pulse 18 freely pass through Q3 to the gate of Q2 and to noninhibited circuit 14. When it is desired to selectively inhibit circuit 12 without effecting the operation of circuit 14, pad A is connected to ground potential, thereby turning off Q3 and preventing signals produced at Q1 from reaching the gate of Q2.
