A connector is firmly attached to a cable by a housing having an integral cable gripping clamp.

An AMP-LOK* connector designed for panel mounting may be safely used on a cable with this snap-fit cap and housing. The connector is held in the snap-fit cap which is fastened to a housing body carrying a split cable gripping clamp. The housing body has an internal cavity through which the cable from the clamp passes. The cable clamp is tightened against the cable with appropriate fasteners. *Trademark of AMP, Incorporated
