At the present time, generation of magnetic bubble domains by use of a mother bubble rotating about a permalloy spot and being split off at a given time, is limited to frequencies below 500 HKz. By providing a shorter recirculation path, the generator's speed is increased.

At the present time, generation of magnetic bubble domains by use of a mother bubble rotating about a permalloy spot and being split off at a given time, is limited to frequencies below 500 HKz. By providing a shorter recirculation path, the generator's speed is increased.

Shown are two schemes illustrating idler splitter configurations, which provide a shorter recirculation path for the mother bubble. The rest or normal position of each scheme is illustrated in the (A) diagram with the in-plane field H directed upward, as indicated. Proceeding with depictions (A) through (D), for each position of the in-plane field a split-up of the mother bubble is shown.
