Abstract

Cleaning of a steel type belt 10 is accomplished by utilizing a spring steel blade 12, which is notched at 14 to provide a more flexible section. The blade is provided with a magnet 16 which holds the blade against the belt, for maintaining alignment and providing improved cleaning action without preloading the belt.
