Abstract

Compounds of the following general formula (Image Omitted) where R, R' and R" are lower alkyl groups such as ethyl or methyl, A is S or CH = CH, B is a substituent such as nitro, and X is an anion such as iodide or perchlorate, have been found useful as photogenerators. When coated with a suitable charge transport layer, they may be used in carrying out electrophotographic processes.
