Markets inaccessible by reason of price will become increasingly available as logic and memory costs decrease. Specifically, the application of computers to intellectual recreation can become commonplace.

In this description, it is proposed to develop a computer to enable people to "participate" in games played by world leaders in various fields. For example, all the cards in a bridge hand, the subsequent bids and play of cards can be contained in about 1000 bits. A "player" would have hundreds of hands stored in memory and could select any of the chairs and be shown the hand selected. Bidding shown on a display would proceed by the other three closed hands and the "player" could "bid" his hand (by an input device such as a keyboard or light pen). If his bid agreed with that of the game as recorded, bidding would proceed. If his choice was different, the "correct" bid would be shown and the bidding would proceed in accordance with the "correct" bid. At close of the auction, play would proceed in a similar fashion with the player comparing his choices with the master who played the hand originally.

Similarly, famous chess matches could be loaded into memory in 1000 to 2000 bits. The player could then match wits with a world leader in chess, having the benefit of another world master as guiding "kibitzer". Additional games of this kind could be devised.
