Print Paper Separator

The operator of a printer presently removes the three-part stack from the printer on completion of a job, and separates the stack into three separate stacks using another device. This rack provides the separation step as the papers leave the printer.

The rack is wire formed and contains a top and bottom paper receptacle 10 and 12. A pair of fences 13 are located vertically at the back of the wire-formed rack.

The rack is designed to be placed on the floor against the back of the printer. The paper is manually separated when it starts out of the printer. The first sheet 15 is directed into the pocket 17 of the printer. The second sheet 20 is directed between the two fences 13 at the rear of the rack and drops into the lower basket 12 of the rack. The third sheet 22 is directed into the top basket 10 of the rack. Upon completion of the printing job, the printer output is already in three separate piles or stacks.
