Abstract

Described herein is a set of FORTRAN subroutines designed to augment normal FORTRAN input. Routines are provided so that FORTRAN calls can easily check for particular character strings, unpack integers or real numbers, read in lists of values into arrays, unpack input in program-specified ways based on the occurrence of certain user-program specified key words, and automatically print the deck of input cards along with any user-program generated diagnostics.

The following description explains the function of these routines, by showing a typical use and describing the function and procedure performed.
