Abstract

In Fig. 1 a passbook terminal printer is shown having wire matrix print heads 10 and 12 mounted on a common carrier 14 driven by a lead screw 16. Platen 20 cooperates with print head 12 and a gripper belt 22 for printing on a passbook 24. Platen 26 cooperates with print head 10 for printing on dual-journal tape 25, fed from a supply roll 27 to a takeup roll 28 and providing a receipt 30. Cut forms 32 may be handled by feeding in through a chute 34 and out at throat 36 with the receipt.

In Fig. 2 an arrangement is shown wherein two rotating print discs 40 and 42 are mounted on a carrier 44 driven by a lead screw 46. Platen 48 cooperates with print disc 42 for printing on a passbook 50. Platen 52 cooperates with print disc 40 for printing on a dual-journal tape 54 supplied by reel 56, part of which is wound up on a takeup roll 58 and part of which issues from throat 60 as a receipt
62. Cut forms 63 are fed through chute 64 and out at throat 60. ink rolls 65 are provided for inking the print discs.
