Badge for Attendance Recording

The subject badge is the same size as conventional ones, but it holds a small card on which the employee arrival and departure times are printed by the badge reader.

Referring to the figure, the card bears six columns corresponding to six days of the week, and an horizontal line determining six upper areas for recording the arrival times and six lower areas for recording the departure times. Each individual area is large enough to bear two pieces of information, in order to also record a temporary absence during the working hours, as shown in the "Tuesday" column.

The card is slidably mounted in the rear face of the badge so that it can be easily removed and replaced by another one every week. The time printer, which may be of any conventional type, is incorporated in the badge reader, and is operated upon introducing the badge into the badge reader.
