Gas Mixing Manifold

The device shown can be used to obtain uniform mixing of a number of gases.

Two fans 1 and 2 are mounted in a chamber 3 in a manner that permits the gases to flow between the fans and the chamber walls. Both fans drive the gases towards the center of the chamber 3 to achieve a flow, as shown by the arrows 4.

Gases are introduced into the chamber through inlet parts 5 at the sides of the fans. The mixture is extracted from the center of the chamber via one or more outlets 6.
