Abstract

Figs. 1 and 2 show a cutting tool having a hook to grip the wire insulation and a sliding blade to cooperate with the hook's cutting blade to pull back the insulation, cut the insulation and the wire, and allow the insulation to slip over the end of the wire for insulation purposes.

Wire End Insulation Cutter

Figs. 1 and 2 show a cutting tool having a hook to grip the wire insulation and a sliding blade to cooperate with the hook's cutting blade to pull back the insulation, cut the insulation and the wire, and allow the insulation to slip over the end of the wire for insulation purposes.

Fig. 3 shows the completed cut 5. The wire end 6 is then removed from the conductor 7 which is carrier upon substrate 8. Fig. 4 shows the cut and wire-end insulated structure.
