Linear Movement Guide

This arrangement is used for the tolerance and maintenance-free guide of a linearly moved part.

For axial movement in the direction of the double arrow, cylindrical part 1 is guided in three bearings 2 spaced on the circumference. Each bearing 2 is made up of two vertically spaced leaf spring elements 3a, 3b, which by means of two slots 4 are subdivided into three sections 3a', 3a", 3d' and 3b', 3b", 3b', respectively. Outer sections 3a', 3b' are half as wide as inner sections 3a", 3b", so that the stiffness of the two outer sections 3a', 3b' combined equals the stiffness of inner sections 3a", 3b".

Outer sections 3a', 3b' of leaf spring elements 3a, 3b are screwed to a stationary carrier ring 5, and cylindrical part 1 is screwed to inner sections 3a", 3b". To this end, cylindrical part 1 comprises on its circumference three projections 1a having the same width as sections 3a", 3b", protruding without contact into corresponding recesses 5a in carrier ring 5.
