Abstract

In a pack of co-rotating floppy type storage disks, which requires free circulation of air radially between disks, spacer disks are interposed between successive storage disks. The spacer disks (Fig. 1) are channeled members 1 having elevated surfaces 2, which form channels 3 for air circulation. The channels, such as 3 in Fig. 1, can be effectively produced either by etching a metal disk to provide the elevation contours 2 or by punching a blank, as shown in Fig. 2, and folding over tabs 4 to create the required channels 3.
