O Ring Roller

The device as depicted schematically in Figs. 1 and 2 shows a pair of O- rings 11 which eliminates the need for actual shaft contour on roller 10.

Each O-ring 11 is secured in position by a movable flange 12 which is connected to arcuate section 14 via screw connections 16, 18, 20 and 22, respectively. Shaft 24 rides on the arcuate O-rings 11 over section 14. By loosening screws 16-22, the O-rings 11 can easily be replaced.
