Corona Wire Mount

This corona wire mount is easily installed and removed, and provides accurate positioning of the corona wire adjacent the corona's shield and the photoconductor to be charged thereby.

The corona's plastic, insulating end block 10 includes an extending, boss-like portion 11. Slots 13 (only one of which is shown) are shaped to receive and hold a metal spring anchor 14. This anchor is mounted within slot portions 13 by compressing the spring into a U-shape and then inserting the anchor 14 into the slots 13.

The anchor 14 includes two hooks 15 which receive loops formed in the end of corona wires 16.

The end of corona emission is established by a slide-in shield 17 which cooperates with grooves 18 formed in shield 12.
