One Piece Auger

This is an improved auger consisting of a one-piece molding.

Augers for use in moving developer material in a copier machine have customarily been made in sections and then assembled onto a shaft. This technique removes the assembly time necessary to putting small parts together, by making the entire assembly in one piece. This is accomplished by molding the auger and screwing it out of the cavity in the mold.
