Abstract

A stacker for sheets such as banknotes This is compact and dramatically reduces the space required for the stroke of a conventional stacking mechanism. This system is able to encash sheets of different widths and/or lengths fed to it individually or as a stack of up to, say, 20 sheets . This system use a combination of four shafts as guides and pushers: A very narrow pusher located between these rotatable shafts pinches the bill (or stack) against the pressure plate (obviously through the stack of bills) The shape given to the bills or bundle (coming from the bundler) by the mechanism constrains the bills (or stack) in such manner that at the end the revolution, the resilience of the sheets helps the bills to escape from the shafts .

This is compact and dramatically reduces the space required for the stroke of a conventional stacking mechanism.

This system is able to encash sheets of different widths and/or lengths fed to it individually or as a stack of up to, say, 20 sheets . This system use a combination of four shafts as guides and pushers: A very narrow pusher located between these rotatable shafts pinches the bill (or stack) against the pressure plate (obviously through the stack of bills)

The shape given to the bills or bundle (coming from the bundler) by the mechanism constrains the bills (or stack) in such manner that at the end the revolution, the resilience of the sheets helps the bills to escape from the shafts .
