Stabilization of DEASP/CDB/Binder Films to Photodegradation

The tendency for pyrazolines to undergo photohydrogenation to pyrazoles can be minimized by mixing them with singlet oxygen quenchers such as amines, carotenoids, azomethine dyes and transition metals.

These quenchers can be added to the pyrazoline materials to inhibit photodegradation in liquid or solid form.
