Three Position Toggle Switch Limiter Knob

The limiter knob shown above restricts the movement of the three-position toggle switch 12 from its neutral position to one of the other two positions or locks the toggle in the neutral position.

The limiter knob includes a knob 10 with a hole for receiving the extended portion or stem 14 of the toggle switch 12. The limiter has an angular cut on the end facing the toggle. The limiter slips over the toggle and is fastened with a set screw (not shown).

The slanted cut allows a user to set the toggle in one position without accidentally changing that setting. The flats on the end of the knob may be color coded, numbered or lettered to suit the user.
