Key Button Module

Three depression levels for full tactical feel on an electronic keyboard are obtained with a key button which is repetitively biased prior to leaf spring collapse.

The first level is provided upon depressing key button 6 a first extent against leaf spring 1. The second level results when key button 6 is further depressed to the extent that spring 3 is compressed upon retainer 4 abutting shoulder 5. The third level is provided by the snap action or collapse of leaf springs 1 and 2 upon depression of key button 6 a third extent. Leaf springs 1 and 2 are hingeably connected about their ends.
