Magnetic Disc Storage Tray

A tray is included in a miniature magnetic recording apparatus to provide access to, and storage space for, recorded and unrecorded discs.

Recorder 1 (Fig. 1) has a tray 2 with a divider 3. Tray 2 is spring-biased to the open position shown, and is opened by operating button 4 (Fig. 2). Unrecorded discs are stored on top 5 of divider 3, and recorded discs are stored adjacent bottom 6. Since a hand-held miniature recorder is normally oriented in many directions, tangs 7 and 8 are provided to maintain the discs within tray 2 upon opening thereof.
