Abstract

A display using a rotating mirror to give a two-dimensional display appearance to the light from a line of pulsed light-emitting diodes (LEDs) can be adapted for two observers by using a double-face mirror, as shown in Fig. 1.

A display using a rotating mirror to give a two-dimensional display appearance to the light from a line of pulsed light-emitting diodes (LEDs) can be adapted for two observers by using a double-face mirror, as shown in Fig. 1.

Such a display can also be adapted to merge the output of two separate lines of LEDs by placing two synchronized rotating mirrors over one another, as shown in Fig. 2. The adaptation can also be employed for front and back displays.
