Increased contact drive area and noneccentric loading result when forms sprocket pins are engaged directly by drive pins.

Referring to the figures, an endless pin feed belt 1 is fitted at regular intervals with molded sprocket pins 2 for engaging forms 3 at holes 4 in a forms tractor. Pins 2 have a cavity 5 in the bottom thereof each engageable by a pin 6 secured to rotating drive hub 7. The pins may be fixed to the belt in a variety of means, one of which is hot upsetting of pins 8 (Fig. 2). The contact between the sprocket pins and drive pins occurs at the pitch line of the belt and above, and the pin and cavity are so shaped as to facilitate entry and exit.
