Abstract

Tubes 1 can be placed around apertures 2 in computer panels 3 to restrict RF penetration through apertures 2. The latter are placed in panels 3 to permit the entrance and exit of air for cooling. However these apertures 2 allow RF signals to penetrate the shielding provided by panels 3. To restrict the penetration of the RF noise, tubes 1 of a given diameter and length are placed over the apertures 2. Tubes 1 also help to damp out some machine and blower noises.
