Abstract

Each diode D and D' is screwed through its respective lower part 1 and 1' in heat exchanger wall 2. The fillets are electrically isolated from wall 2 by insulated couplings 3 and 3'. A positioning flange 4 is mounted around upper parts 5 and 5' of the diode bodies and is held in position by screw 6. The latter is isolated from flange 4 by insulated coupling 7. Flange 4 has no physical contact with the heat exchanger. For each diode, a first electrical contact is represented by pin 8 or 8' and the second electrical contact is made on flange 4 which surrounds each diode.
