Abstract

This tool engages and holds a single electrical connector housing to facilitate its insertion or extraction from a circuit board. Bar 1, having knob 2 on one end, is provided with narrow extended hooked portion 3 at the opposite end. Reliefs 4 and 5 at the one end of the bar are provided to accept wires 7 and 8 extending from housing 9. Slideable section 10 includes extended portion 11 adapted to engage the opposite sides of housing 9. The latter is provided with elongated slots 12 and 13 which are engaged by the extended sections of the tool to hold housing 9.
