Abstract

This delay circuit provides a linear delay over a wide range of frequency. The main requirement is that inductors L1 and L2 are in the ratio of 4:1. This circuit provides a linear phase shift from 0 degree to 180 degrees with a deviation of only +/-0.1 degree as the frequency varies from DC to omega where omega = 1/square root of (L1 + L2)C, R = 0.634 omega L1, and R'>> than R.
