Abstract

This arrangement uses a single laser beam for simultaneously reading out all data from a series of axially aligned holograms HO/LO 1, 2, 3, n. Individual data representing beams D1, D2, D3, Dn exiting from the holograms are directed to impinge upon a related addressable section of a photodiode array comprised of S1, S2, S3, Sn. Each exiting beam is oriented at an appropriate angle relative to the laser beam axis to impinge upon its related section on the array. Data signals can be selectively read out from the array under control of addressing devices.
