Abstract

Flexible development electrode 1 is for use with the cascade development of an electrostatic image carried on an insulating member 2, such as a photoconductor. Electrode 1 is constructed of a metallized plastic sheet, such as aluminized polyethylene terephthalate. The space between electrode 1 and member 2 is maintained either by the flow of developer 3 or by the tensioning of the free end of such electrode with a weight 4.
