Abstract

Differential or single-ended current is measured by a current loop, formed with conductors 10 and 12 that carry differential current in opposing directions, and by current probe 14 that is attached at the area of crossover. Probe 14 measures the differential current, or the single-ended current, through either conductor. Connectors 16 and 18 are available for the current sources and connected respectively to load connector pins 20 for AC load measurement and terminals 22 which enable DC measurement. A precision resistor is wired in series with the DC circuit. Thus, both AC and DC currents can be simultaneously measured.
