Abstract

The block supports individual parts for inspection. Block 1 is formed as an upside-down T with base portion 1a and vertical supporting portion 1b. The latter has its upper surface preferably formed at a 90 degrees angle and includes magnetic elements 2 that magnetically attract and hold a part, not shown, for inspection. Raised pedestal 1b keeps the part supported at a higher level than conventional blocks for a better view of the part.
