Abstract

Switch handle 10 is disposed with respect to face panel 11 through which it projects so that a good visual indication of the switch position from all normal viewing angles is presented. Handle 10 is fixed on handle 12 of toggle switch 13. This in turn is fixed with respect to switch mounting panel 14. The latter is fixed with respect to and is spaced from panel 11. Handle 10 has skirts 15 and 16. These lie flat on the surface of panel 14 and have their edges contacting the inside surface of panel 11 depending on the position of handle 10. Display surfaces 10a and 10b of handle 10 carrying indicia of the switch position are at an acute angle a to each other.

Toggle Switch Handle

Switch handle 10 is disposed with respect to face panel 11 through which it projects so that a good visual indication of the switch position from all normal viewing angles is presented. Handle 10 is fixed on handle 12 of toggle switch 13. This in turn is fixed with respect to switch mounting panel 14. The latter is fixed with respect to and is spaced from panel 11. Handle 10 has skirts 15 and
16. These lie flat on the surface of panel 14 and have their edges contacting the inside surface of panel 11 depending on the position of handle 10. Display surfaces 10a and 10b of handle 10 carrying indicia of the switch position are at an acute angle a to each other.

Surfaces 10a and 10b are disposed at an obtuse angle b with respect to face panel 11 depending on the position of handle 10 so that surfaces 10a and 10b can be easily viewed from in front of panel 11.
