Abstract

Square-shaped floor modules 10 are laid side-by-side so as to form a complete raised floor on which electrical or other equipment can be placed. Modules 10 have depending legs 11 on their corners. The inside legs of the raised floor are received by circular coasters 12 of resilient material. Ramps 13 extend around the periphery of the raised floor and are adhered to base floor 14. Ramps 13 have grooves 13a for receiving legs 11 on the periphery of the raised floor. Cabling 15 can extend underneath and be concealed by modules 10. There can be readily lifted and set aside for servicing cable 15. For increasing the area of the floor, ramps 13 can be moved outwardly and additional modules 10 can be laid in place within the perimeter of ramps 13.
