Abstract

The inserter device positions hybrid modules in a designated place. The device is of particular use in inserting modules 1 into a suitable supported silicone rubber pad 2. The device inserts the modules automatically with even placement to an exact depth in rubber pad 2. With the device in a neutral position, module 1 is inserted into jaws 3. Wheel 4 is turned counterclockwise pushing inserters 5 downward to a given location, and then retracted slightly to take up rubber pad expansion. Cams 6 located on wheel 4 now open the inserter jaws 3 releasing module 1. Inserters 5 are then automatically returned to a neutral up position by cams 6 attached to wheel 4. The latter for one insertion cycle turns 360 degrees.
