Abstract

This connector is utilized in attaching discrete wires to the pins on SLT boards. Single-piece, insulated connector housing 1, containing a plurality of openings 4, is used to locate and terminate several discrete coaxial wires 5. Commoning bar 2, while serving as a strain relief, establishes the ground connection for the coax shields through ground connector 6 and is connected to housing 1 by bolts. Wires 5 are terminated in serpent contacts 3 inserted into the rear of openings 4. The connector furnishes a high density of connections.
