Abstract

A transmission link comprising a p group of channels is connected to a subsystem which operates with one selected group at a time. An address decoder selects a group of m-out-of-n coded input information. Single errors in either the input signals transmitted, within the group selection matrix, or in the group address decoder can be detected by the circuit. Each input group is connected to the appropriate selection gates of the matrix which passes a single group to its output. The selection matrix functions under control of a decoder which receives a selection address from an external source. An m-out-of-n validity checker is connected across the output of the selection matrix and produces an indication whenever the matrix output deviates from the m-out-of-n code.
