Abstract

Bearing 11 is of unitary construction. Such bearing has an outer portion 13 adapted to be fixedly mounted to a frame, not shown, by bolts, not shown, passing through apertures 15. Inner portion 17 has an aperture adapted to receive and support shaft 19 for rotation. Web portion 21 is of a lesser thickness than outer and inner portions 13 and 17 and is of a strong but flexible material such as plastic. Thus, when the alignment of shaft 19 in bearing 11 changes, web portion 21 flexes to compensate for the misalignment.
