Abstract

The traveling image display tube has an endless dielectric belt 1 extended around pulleys 2 for clockwise rotation past an electron beam write gun 3, a developer station 4, a view screen 5 and an erase gun 6. Gun 3 deposits a charge in selected belt 1 areas to which visible developer adheres with passage through developer station 4. The developed image is viewed through screen 5 or is projected by light striking mirror 7 and passing through belt 1 and out of screen 5.
