Abstract

This storage arrangement comprises a read-only memory 1 and a read-write memory 2. For reading, an address is fed to the address register 3 causing energization of the proper read head 4 or 5 which transmits the data to data register 6. Read-only memory 1 is used to store the bulk of the information. For updating, the changed data is stored on read-write memory 2 and register 3 is programmed to only read memory 2 when the old address for the information on memory 1 is fed to the device.
