Abstract

In this printed circuit winding for a coil, conductive land 10 is printed on plastic carrier 11 in a type of zig-zag pattern through columns of parallel slots 12. Land 10 goes between each pair of slots and in an opposite direction between alternate slots. Carrier 11 is then folded. Magnetic core 13 is interwoven through slots 12 so that land 10 continuously encircles core 13 in one direction, thus forming a coil.
