Abstract

Memory arrays can be made completely pluggable by the use of an interface board 10. The latter has terminals 12 that are welded to terminals of the memory array and to connectors 14 which receive printed circuitry. Terminals 12 pass through frame 16 and are welded on the interior of such frame to lands on printed circuit board 18. Printed circuitry on board 18 connects the lands to connectors 14 which are mounted on board 18. Thus by welding the ends of terminals 12 extending around the periphery of board 18 to core plane terminals in the array, connections to the core array can be made by plugging circuit cards into connectors 14.
