Semilive Skid Handler

The self-storing skid handler has a compact design for improved maneuverability as in drawing A.

Handler 1 is quickly attached to skid 2 as shown at B. Channel member 3 is moved into position under angle piece 4. Latch 5 snaps over angle piece 6 when handler 1 is moved into operating position. The generally upright position of handler 1 insures good maneuverability in tight quarters.

Foot pressure on rails 7 and 8 rotates latch 5 about pivot 9 until stop 10 reaches frame member 11. Then the handler is easily removed. As shown at C, handler 1 has a balanced configuration over rail 12 and wheels 13 and 14. It requires no other support, is self storing in an upright position, and requires a minimum amount of space.
