Abstract

This version of the First Order Interpolator-2 Degrees of Freedom (FOI-2DF) substitutes a division by n/1/, where n/1/ is the nearest binary number to n, in place of the division by n in the standard FOI-2DF algorithm. Dividing by a binary number is accomplished simply by a shift of the dividend to the right.
