Abstract

This assembly permits a contactor blade to be adjusted without changing its fixed length. The blade can be readily replaced in the contactor assembly. Metal blade 20, including apertures 22, is bonded to a plastic support by a suitable resin. The plastic support includes passageway 26 located beneath the apertures 22 in blade 20. The latter and its support are attached to contactor body 28 by screws 30 which thread into the body 28 and fit into passage way 26 of the support. Blade 20 and its support are adhered to body 28 by tightening screws 30 through apertures 22. Blade 20 can be readily replaced by releasing screws 30 and sliding the support off of body 28. Blade positions can be varied through the location of the screws in passageway 26.
