Abstract

Input shaft 10 is driven from a source, not shown, via pulley 11. Fin 12 is fixed to extend eccentrically from the end of shaft 10. Bar 13 is mounted on pin 12 by bearing 14. Guide plate 15, provided with vertical and horizontal end-opening slots 16 and 17, is placed on guide pins 18 and 19. Fins 18 and 19 are fixed to housing 20 and bar 13 respectively. The eccentric motion of pin 12 is transferred to bar 13 via plate 15 and pins 18 and 19. Fins 18 limit plate 15 to vertical motion. Drive arms 21, pivotally mounted on bar 13 and guided by pins 22, transmit angular motion to incrementing wheels 24 via drive pins 23. Wheels 24 drive feed rolls 25 which cooperate with feed rolls 26. By this arrangement, several synchronous incremental output drives are obtained from a single input drive.
