Abstract

Tension is maintained in stretchable cord 10 by springs 11. The latter act between datum member 12 and pulley 13 that is slidably mounted on frame 14. Movement of pulley 11 is permitted only the outward direction, arrow A, by pawl and ratchet 15, thus preventing rebound slack that can cause untracking of cord 10.
