Abstract

Stacker plate 10 lowers as cards 15 are fed into stacker pocket 11 by cooperating feed rolls 20. Plate 10 lowers under control of rubber strip 25. Strip 25 is looped over stationary support rod 26 and is attached at its ends to bracket 30. The latter is attached to the underneath side of 10 and carries grooved rollers 31 and 32 which ride along guide rod 35. Strip 25 stretches at a constant rate as cards 15 stack upon plate 10.
