Electrolyte Deposition System

This electrolytic deposition device has container 1, a mask which includes body 2 of porous material and masking surface 3, and lid 4 upon which is mounted diaphragm 5.

In operation, metallized substrate 6 is held in intimate contact with surface 3 by inflating the diaphram. An electrolyte is pumped from a reservoir, through the inlet tube 7, through the mask and back to the reservoir through outlet tube 8. An electric potential is applied between anode 9 and substrate 6. Thus, a pattern defined by surface 3 is plated onto substrate 6.
