Abstract

The connector can be preassembled to a coaxial cable which can then be used to interconnect any combination of pins in a pin matrix used in printed circuit electronic packaging. The connector includes a slip-on connector body 1 having openings 2 and 3 for the pins to pass. Spring contacts 4 and 5 electrically connect the inserted pins to the coaxial cable 6. The signal conductor 7 of cable 6 is crimped and soldered to signal connector 8. The ground conductor 9 is crimped and soldered to ground connector 10.
